Rugby League, A Dying Sport

Rugby League Ball

Hello readers of the amazing Sheesham Furniture blog. How are you all today? Hope you are all well and very happy. Personally I am happy as the Rugby League season has started again and this means only one thing. A rivalry has started in the office; my colleague is a huge fan of Batley Bulldogs whereas I am a fan of the mighty Featherstone Rovers. Luckily when these two teams met a few weeks ago, Featherstone came out on top in a compelling 42-14 match. I then proceeding to gloat about this result for the next few weeks. Anyway do you like rugby league? In my opinion it is a good sport however it is dying, I don’t believe in 20 years Rugby League will be popular at all, just by looking at today’s current popularity compared to 10 years ago. This is really sad news as, even though you wouldn’t think it this is a family sport and one that people can go and enjoy.

On the other hand, I do believe that football is one reason that it is declining. This is because young children would rather play football rather than Rugby. With all fairness I can understand why. There is something about big men and women smashing into each other that doesn’t have that appeal to most young children.

Anyway something that does appeal to most people is our Sheesham Furniture Living Room Collection. This is because it features all of the family favourites which are suited to every household. Crafted out of the highest quality Sheesham Wood, there is surely something that you like.

That has been today’s blog, I hope that you have enjoyed it and hopefully you will go check out our wonderful range of Sheesham Furniture. I hope you have a great day and a great rest of the week. Goodbye!
